Governor Ibrahim Idris of Kogi State has stated that the construction of more office structures and renovation of the existing ones in various ministries and parastatal agencies are part of his efforts to solve the problem of office accommodation in the state civil service.

The governor, while inspecting the newly completed storey building secretariat for the state Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lokoja, expressed his determination to provide workers in the state with the needed conducive atmosphere that would enhance their productivity.

At the Ministry of Environment and Physical Development, Idris expressed satisfaction that the project had reached an advanced stage and promised to provide additional funds to ensure its completion before the end of the year.

He also visited the state ministries of health, works and women affairs where he directed that the dilapidated roofs of some office blocks be changed.
