Kanu is something special - Hart

PORTSMOUTH boss, Paul Hart is happy to use Nigerian international, Nwankwo Kanu as an impact player.
The Nigerian legend enjoyed a cameo role in Pompey’s thumping win over Wigan Athletic last Saturday.
Hart said: “Kanu made an impact when he came on. I just wish I’d had him 20 years ago.
“I saw him play for Ajax when he was younger. He has got great class, he’s a great bloke to have around the place and he did tremendously well when he went on.”
Meanwhile, new Portsmouth owner Ali Al Faraj is planning a January clearout.
The People says Kanu, midfielder John Utaka and striker David Nugent are just three of those who will be shunted by new owner Ali Al-Faraj’s regime.
Agents working for the club have started the task of finding new homes for the unwanted stars, with some being offered to rich Middle East outfits.
One Pompey insider revealed: “There are five players here on more than £50,000-a-week and everybody knows some of them are going to have to go.”
