State, takes the centre stage again
after the Democracy Day concert in May that attracted creme de la creme in the entertainment industry, as the days are counting down to the Motivation Magazine’s Night of Music and Comedy and the campaign against fake drugs in the state.
More activities are beginning to evolve as the wife of the state governor, Mrs. Yemisi Suswam, joined the list of prominent guests expected at the event.
For the first leg of the event in November 11, 2face, his management team; Love Idoko; publisher of Motivation Magazine and her team; NAFDAC team to be led by the Director General, Dr. Paul Orhii, as well as other prominent personalities from the state, will tour secondary schools in Benue as they campaign against the use of fake drugs.
The tour will culminate into a night of Music and Comedy on November 13, at the In-Door Hall, Kontagora Complex, Makurdi.
With Nollywood actors, Desmond Elliot and Ada Ameh as compere and artistes like Gordon, I Go Die, J Martins, Bovi and others will be performing live at the event.
Speaking on the event, Love Idoko stated that despite the hard work and various challenges involved in putting together such an event, they are determined to put in their best as that is the culture of the Motivation Magazine Crew, and that every one can look forward to a successful campaign and event.

Victor Okahi Appointed As Jury’s President Of The 33rd CIFF
A Nigerian film maker, Mr. Victor
Okhai, has been appointed the
president of the Jury of the International Digital Competition for long feature films of the Cairo International Film Festival.
CIFF is the oldest and biggest film festival in the Arab world and Middle East, and it will hold between November 10 and 20, in Cairo, Egypt.
Mr. Victor Okhai, one of the founders of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria, is a producer, scriptwriter, director and film consultant.
Currently, he is the Director General of the International Film and Broadcast Academy, Lagos. He is also a teacher and resource person on film, locally and internationally, and has delivered papers on the Nollywood phenomenon in various universities and film festivals.
He is also a consultant to many organisations on film, television production and broadcasting including Channels Television, Imo Television, AIT, MBI, DeutcheWelle (Africa Dept), BBC World Service Trust, Goethe Institute, Lagos, The German Embassy in Nigeria and Berlin International Film Festival.
Okhai, who is also the director of the Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria (MCSN), has been on the jury of many local and international film festivals.
