Colombia Coach Dedicates Win To Ijebu-Ode Fans

The Colombian National Under 17 coach,Ramiro Viafara has dedicated his team’s victory over championship favourite Argentina to the entire Ijebu Ode fans.

Colombia, Wednessday defeated Argentina 3 -2 in the knock out stage match of the on going fifa under 17 World Cup championship at the magnificient Gateway Intetnational Stadium in the match watch by full capacity which included fIfa vice president Jack Warner,Ogun State Governor,Otunba Gbenga Daniels and other state functionaries.

The fans rooted for the SouthAmericans all through the 90 minutes encounter which was won by Colombia within minutes to the end of the game.

The coach during the post match conference said having expressed happiness over the victory said he owed the success to the fans whose endless support spured his youthful players to put in much efforts having trailed the Argentine 0-2,adding ‘’if not for the support,maybe we would have been on our way home now,so we are dedicating this victory to them and I hope it will comtinue as we continue fighting for honours in the championship,” Viafara said.
