Re: I’ll never pray for a blue Xmas again

I am not the emotional type, but I cried when I read your story. I could feel the genuineness of your pains. You however, can forgive her if you choose to and I pray that God will give you the grace, because it takes the grace of God to forgive in this type of situation.

The excess luggages (those two kids) she’s coming with would also be a source of emotional pains to you for the rest of your life. Sir, sincerely speaking, your best bet is for you to move on with your life and forget her.
Femi, UK.

Brother, it is painful and hard to bear, but if God can forgive the harlot in the Bible and today she has her place in the kingdom of God; then, it means that He expects us to emulate him as his children on earth.

You also have the duty to beg your children to find a place in their hearts to forgive their mother. It was the enemy of her soul that blinded her eyes to all what she did.

If you are a child of God and you recite the Lord’s prayers, then you would know what is expected of you by God. God has repaid you for all her wrongdoing, you can’t pay God back for all He did for you. She came back to you like the prodigal son, forgive her and let her have her place again.Call me on these numbers so we can talk 08098475265/08038335853 Tseuns.

In my opinion, if the other man had not left her she wouldn’t have come back to you.

Do you think if you were not back on you feet she would have come back asking for forgiveness, even in this present state? Note that she is still the same person and would not change overnight.

The children she had for you are no good grounds for you to accept her. Considering your state and that of hers, she would be a loyal and humble person, but I don’t think that would change her person.

If the opportunity comes again she would do the same thing, so, please, be careful. Adelams.

I believe you need to pray for a way out. If I should advise you based on human knowledge, I would say you should never have anything to do with her again. But, please, let God and the Holy Spirit guide you as to what to do.

Do not be emotionally carried away, be very careful, don’t see too much of her now until you are able to receive God’s direction.

Any attempt to take her back is digging your grave. I am not against you and the children forgiving her for her wickedness, I am only against you allowing her to come back as your wife. Please, do not take her back. You can assist her financially if need be. But run for your dear life.

Wale AAdekunle, you are a grown up man and you can take your decision by yourself. We all can only advise you.

I am of the opinion that you and your children can forgive her, but taking her back is completely out of it.

I see her as heartless and irresponsible. Forgive her, if need be, help her financially, but don’t take her back. Ibrat I wonder how you still love a woman who has slept with another man and even had children for him.

Two issues are in your story; forgiveness and reinstatement. The woman in my home today; (my wife) packed out of my house when I had no job some years ago and of course we didn’t have children then. When her parents saw that she left me because of the fact that things were tough for me, they asked her to move back into my house. In your own case, your wife’s mother did not counsel her well. One thing with us Nigerians is that we are always quick to preach forgiveness, but when things happen to us we do otherwise. Like I mentioned earlier, two issues are pending. Take the first one; forgive her, but, please, do not reinstate her. Do not take her back as your wife because when the chips are down again, I am sure she will do the same thing again.
