Obuh signs 2-yr deal with NFF

COACH of Nigeria’s U-20 team, John Obuh, on Friday finally signed a two-year contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

MTNFootball.com learnt that by this contract, Obuh will pocket a million naira (over $6,000) a month.

“Yes, I have signed a contract with the NFF,” confirmed Obuh, who was elevated to the Flying Eagles from the U-17 team last year.

Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles on Sunday arrived Benghazi, Libya, where they will play two tune-up matches against AYC hosts Libya before they jet out to Turkey for training.

The five-time African champions are drawn in a tough first round group that has world champions, Ghana, Cameroun and The Gambia.

The AYC kicks off on March 18 in Tripoli, Libya, with the top four teams qualifying for the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in Colombia later this year.
