Thank you doctor for the wonderful work you have been doing. May God continue to bless you, amen. I have been having a persistent sore throat for the past few months. All the drugs I have taken have not worked and the last doctor I saw diagnosed my condition as ‘Chronic Tonsillitis’. He suggested that I should cut the thing, but I am afraid since somebody who cut his own near my house a few years ago bled to death after the operation.

Thanks for the compliments and prayers. Although it is not all cases of Chronic tonsillitis that require surgery, if your doctor advises that your tonsils should be removed, I think that you should consider such advice. The other thing to do is to let the operation be done by a specialist surgeon, preferably in a Teaching or Specialist Hospital nearest to you.  When done by professional hands, removal of Tonsils is quite safe and should not scare you.
