My Daughter Has No Breast

Share

My first daughter is already 13  years old and unlike her age mates, she has no sign of breast development up till now. She gets teased a lot about this in school.  Kindly advise me on what to do as her dad and I are very worried.

While it is true that breast development as well as changes during adolescence start gradually for girls as from age 11 years and age 13 years for boys, growth rate often vary from person to person.  This is true because most of these physical development and emotional change usually progress till age 17years when they are finally complete. In view of this, it will be wrong to compare your daughter with her mates, especially since she still have some more years for the final change. Kindly reassure her that her breasts still have a good chance of growing normally.
