I was healthy until a few months ago when I developed a great desire for water. In addition, I also started urinating frequently.
However, unlike what I read about diabetes, I have not lost weight.
Could this be diabetes? Kindly advise.

There are two types of diabetes, one that involves excessive sugar secretion along with urine ( Diabetes Mellitus) and the one that does not (Diabetes Insipidus).
The best way to know the difference is to go for a blood test, in particular, Fasting Blood Sugar test. This is the test that you do before having breakfast.
Although you did not indicate your age, if your Blood Sugar level is high, you will be commenced on some medications with dietary advice on the kinds of food you should or should not eat.
In some cases of extremely high sugar levels, some amount of insulin injections might be added to your treatment regime until the sugar level stabilises.
Many diabetics however do very well on dietary advice and drugs, while a fewer number will not even need drugs after a while.
