ShareIT promises to be a big excitement today as Globacom’s television and lifestyle programme, the GBAM! Glo show takes a new turn. In addition to the exciting live music and celebrity interviews by Dare Art Alade and upcoming US based crooner, Chidynma, the show will bring to viewers, snapshots of the wedding ceremonies that have made headlines in the last decade. The weddings range from the absurd to the outright weird, plus the vault- breaking nuptial ceremonies.

Specifically, the show will roll out to viewers’ pleasure, the most expensive weddings of our time, which included Christina Aguilera’s wedding to Jordan Bratman, who proposed in a hotel room full of rose petals and eight boxes, each containing a poem while the 8th box contained an engagement ring.

The show will also feature the expensive wedding of the daughter of  telecoms giant, Dr. Mike Adenuga, Belinda, to her lover, Mr. Jameel Disu.

GBAM! show presenter, Illrymz, took the cameras to the church ceremony at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina and the reception at Landmark Events Centre, Oniru, Lagos, where he picked up the VIP’s at the occasion, which included royal fathers, state governors, legislators, ex-presidents,  ex-vice presidents, along with captains of industry and socialites alike.

The show will feature what guests like the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu Gbadebo; House of Representatives member, Abike Dabiri and friends said about the new couple. It will also bring clips of proceedings and shots of the unique décor of the event.

Also featured  are the weddings of Hollywood’s  most-married star, Elizabeth Taylor and Larry Fortenski, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes who married in  a 15th century castle in Rome and had all guests dressed by Giorgio Armani at Tom’s  own expense; also the wedding of Paul  McCartney and Heather Mills which cost $3,000,000, along with their divorce four years later which cost $48,000,000.  

There is also the most expensive wedding of Vanisha Mittal, daughter of Indian tycoon, Lashmi Mittal.
