Tony Elumelu Still Grooves

Share

COME to think of it, age and interest have not taken the shine off the stylish ex-Managing Director of United Bank of Africa (UBA), Tony Elumelu as he still employs his spare moments to hang out with friends

once in a while.

Those who are familiar with the ex-banker's habit said he still frequents some hangouts in Lagos to have a feel of the night.

The influential man, who has been linked with a business or two after quitting his banking job is said to have been a regular at the La Casa nightclub owned by Folly Coker and Auto Lounge, which is being operated by Larry Aghotse.

The two fun-houses, which are said to be his favourites have him as one of their biggest clients and always give him and his friends a special treatment whenever they come around.

Tony Elumelu, who retired from the United Bank of Africa, which now has Philip Oduoza as the head, wields influence both in banking and politics and won many laurels when he was still at the helms of affairs of the UBA.
