The stylish woman, one of the very few that raised the standard in the nation’s fashion industry when she opened her Labanella fashion house some decades ago, had a quiet celebration to mark the day.Her birthday, which was expected to attract a grand ceremony, was mildly celebrated with clerics who converged in her Lagos home to offer prayers.
The observation of the holy month of Ramadan was said to have been the reason the socialite shelved the big party which had been planned for her 70th birthday.
The party was said to have been shifted till October and it is what many on the social circle are looking forward to.Share
