Kwara Assebly Approves New State Logo
THE Kwara State House of Assembly has given legal backing to the new state logo unveiled by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed during the last Democracy Day celebration in Ilorin.
The legislature’s approval was sequel to a letter from Governor Ahmed, which sought legalisation of the logo for official use in the state.
While moving the motion for the approval of the logo, the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdulkareem, said that the logo was a good development that would enhance the image of the state and give a sense of patriotism to indigenes of the state wherever they may reside.
He commended the governor for the introduction of the logo which, he said, captures the core values of the state.
