Share

NIGERIA winger Ahmed Musa scored to help his team CSKA Moscow salvage a 1-1 draw in a friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Musa found the back of the net in the 56th minute.

The former VVV Venlo of Holland star put his Russian club ahead with a superb goal but their Ukrainian opponents equalised in the 76th minute after the Nigeria ace had been substituted in 70th minute by Kim In-Sung. The ex-JUTH FC star, who has now scored two goals since his winter move to the Russian giants,  told MTNFootball.com that he is delighted with the goal and hopes to score more in the UEFA Champions League as well as the Russian league.

“I am always happy when I score a goal and this is not different. I thought my goal had given us victory but in the end the match finished in a draw. I am looking forward to scoring goals in Champions League and league,” he said.
